How much is the pay at a Honolulu Hotel?
I've been trying to move to Honolulu for a while now, the only thing keeping me is that I need to find a second job. I've wondered what it's like to work in a hotel and after researching a bit i've found different answers. Being that Honolulu is a big tourist place, let's say I magically got a job at a local hotel.. How much would the pay be?

Depends on the hotel but they are having trouble filling rooms. Occupancy rates are way down and all of the hotels are having to discount so hiring is not a priority right now.

You may two jobs like a lot of locals do to make ends meet. The best thing might be getting a job on the mainland that would allow you to transfer. Then find a place to live before you move here. Use friends or family to help you find a place or to live with until you can get your own place! Good luck!
