Moving to Honolulu for 6 months, Where should I stay and what about transportation?
I will be working in the airport. I want to stay close by and ride the bus to work.

Stay in a hotel.... or rent a condo... get a nice part of town or else because there is alot of crime... and scary people

Get a 6 mo lease on an apartment in Salt Lake. It's one of the cheaper areas to live and it's close to the airport so you could bike or take The Bus to work. Just be prepared to put up with elevated crime and punk kids. Carry a knife and some pepper spray and you should be ok.

Go to Craigslist and rent a room from someone in the following areas: Red Hill, Moanalua, Salt Lake. You can get a full 2-br floor of someone's house for $2000 or less, or get a room for less than that, depending on the layout.
